Explore Georgia: A 6-Day Adventure Starting from Tbilisi
Begin your unforgettable journey in Tbilisi, Georgia’s vibrant capital where history meets modern charm. Arrive at Tbilisi International Airport. Meet your guide and drive to Tbilisi. Early check-in to the hotel on arrival. We visit three places:
· Narikala Fortress – An ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi with panoramic views of the city.
· Sulphur Baths (Abanotubani) – Historic thermal bathhouses in the heart of the old town.
· Tbilisi Cable Car – A scenic ride from Rike Park to Narikala Fortress.
· Mtatsminda Park – Amusement park on top of the mountain with city views and a funicular railway.
· Metekhi Church & Bridge – Historic site offering beautiful river views.
· Rustaveli Avenue – The main avenue with theaters, shops, and cultural landmarks.
· Old Tbilisi (Dzveli Tbilisi) – Cobbled streets, colorful balconies, and charming architecture.
· Dry Bridge Market – A popular flea market with antiques, art, and vintage souvenirs.
· Overnight in Tbilisi
On the second day, the driver will pick you up from the hotel and the Kakheti tour will begin.
· Alaverdi Monastery – One of Georgia’s oldest and most significant religious sites, dating back to the 6th century. Nestled against the backdrop of the Caucasus Mountains, this monastery is also known for its centuries-old winemaking tradition.
· Tsinandali Estate & Wine Tunnel – Visit the historic residence of Georgian nobleman Alexander Chavchavadze. Explore the beautifully landscaped gardens and the underground wine tunnel, where traditional Kakhetian wine-making techniques are still preserved.
· Telavi – The capital of the Kakheti region. Stroll through its charming streets, enjoy views of the Alazani Valley, and visit local landmarks such as King Erekle II’s Palace.
· Overnight in Telavi
Spend the night in this picturesque town, known for its hospitality, relaxed atmosphere, and views of the Caucasus.
Day 3 – Kakheti Tour Continues: Gremi, Nekresi, Sighnaghi & St. Nino Monastery
On the third day, your Kakheti adventure continues as you explore more of the region’s cultural and historical treasures.
· Gremi Citadel & Church – Discover the 16th-century royal citadel that once served as the capital of Kakheti, offering fascinating architecture and scenic views.
· Nekresi Monastery – Visit this ancient monastic complex founded in the 4th century, perched on a hilltop with sweeping views of the Alazani Valley.
· Sighnaghi – The City of Love – Stroll through this charming town known for its romantic atmosphere, colorful balconies, and panoramic vistas.
· St. Nino Monastery in Bodbe – A sacred site overlooking the valley, where St. Nino, the enlightener of Georgia, is buried.
Return to Tbilisi in the evening
Overnight in Tbilisi
On the fourth day, the driver will pick you up from the hotel and the Kazbegi tour will begin.
· Zhinvali Reservoir – A stunning blue water reservoir surrounded by forested hills, perfect for scenic photo stops.
· Ananuri Fortress – A well-preserved medieval fortress overlooking the Zhinvali lake, with churches and watchtowers.
· Gudauri Viewpoint (Friendship Monument) – A panoramic viewpoint with a colorful Soviet-era monument and sweeping views over the Caucasus mountains.
· Gudauri Ski Resort – Popular in winter for skiing and snowboarding, and in summer for paragliding and breathtaking views.
· Jvari Pass (Cross Pass) – A high-altitude pass offering dramatic landscapes and mountain scenery.
· Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) – A picturesque mountain town at the base of Mount Kazbek, ideal for hiking and enjoying nature.
Return to Tbilisi the same day.
· Overnight in Stepantsminda
Day 5 – From Stepantsminda to Tbilisi via Sno, Jvari Monastery & Mtskheta
After breakfast in Stepantsminda, begin your return journey to Tbilisi, stopping at some of Georgia’s most iconic and spiritual landmarks along the way.
· Sno Village – Visit this unique village known for its striking stone sculptures and views of Mount Kazbegi. It’s a peaceful stop that offers a glimpse into the region’s mountain life.
· Jvari Monastery – A 6th-century masterpiece of early Georgian architecture, perched on a hilltop overlooking the confluence of two rivers. The view from here is one of the most famous in the country.
· Mtskheta – Return to Georgia’s spiritual heart to explore more of this ancient capital’s sacred sites or enjoy a relaxed walk through its charming streets.
Arrive back in Tbilisi in the evening.

Day 6 – Departure Day
After breakfast and check-out, your driver will transfer you to Tbilisi International Airport according to your flight schedule.
